1998-2000 ist eine musikalische Sammlung aus der definitiven *As Friends Rust* Ära. Diese auch als ‘Coffee Black’ Ära bekannte Zeit, glänzte mit einem Line Up, das quantitativ zwar nicht unglaublich viel Output
produzierte, aber den charakteristischen Sound der Band am besten erfasste und in die Szene des Melodic Hardcore Punk für alle mal zementierte.
Die Kollektion umfasst alle Juwelen des klassischen Line Ups, von "Home is Where the Heart Aches" und "The First Song on the Tape You Make Her" bis hin zur namengebendes 6-Song EP, inklusive
"Coffee Black" und "Like Strings". Zusätzlich gibt es noch ein Cover von Circle Jerk's "Operation" plus Live Aufnahmnen von zwei Songs, die nie veröffentlicht wurde!
