Gab De La Vega - Adrenaline Rush

Punk Rock Singer-Songwriter Gab De La Vega shares a new music video for the song “Adrenaline Rush”, from the album “Life Burns”, released by SBÄM Records  worldwide, Sell The Heart Records in the USA and Epidemic Records, Motorcity  Produzioni and Overdrive in Italy.

The video was shot while on tour across Europe as Gab De La Vega and The Open Cages in May, when Gab De La Vega brought his full band show across Austria, Czech Republic, Germany And Belgium for a eleven show tour to promote the new album.

The video, shot entirely on mobile phones while on tour and given the look of a Super8 film, enhances the immediacy and roughness of the edit, making it even more captivating and perfectly matching the song.

Gab De La Vega comments

“Adrenaline Rush is one of the songs that people seem to like best out of my new album “Life Burns” and it's  definitely been one of the most fun to play live since the tour started. Those days on tour with the band were some of the best I've ever had since I started touring, many years ago. My bandmates in The Open Cages are insanely talented musicians, they commit one hundred percent to what they are doing, but the are also some of the funniest people I've ever had the pleasure to play with. Every second of that tour was a chance to do or say something stupid and we just couldn't stop laughing and having fun. Give me a band that shreds on stage but also makes you burst in laughter every second and I'll be the happiest musician ever!

Being “Adrenaline Rush” a song that refers to the power of music and the effect that music can have on people's lives, it seemed appropriate to tribute the song with such a video, something that captures a glimpse of the intensity of those days on the road with the band.”

Gab De La Vega's journey over the years has spanned Europe, including the United Kingdom, the East Coast of the United States, Canada and South America, and has seen him share stages with such major artists as Frank Turner, Against Me!, Laura Jane Grace, PUP, Chuck Ragan, Joey Cape and others. In 2022 he participated with his band in Frank Turner's Lost Evenings Festival in Berlin, at the invitation of the British singer-songwriter, and recently embarked on the "Road to the Next Chapter Tour" in 2023, bridging the gap between his third record, "Beyond Space And Time" and the new album "Life Burns."

The “Life Burns” tour continues, with full band and solo tours to take place in the next few months.

The next stop will be what Gab De La Vega called the last chance to see the band perform in their hometown Brescia (Italy) for a very long time. Gab De La Vega and The Open Cages are playing the main stage at Festa di Radio Onda d'Urto in Brescia, one of the main events in the North of Italy in the Summer, opening for Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, one of the most important alternative and independent music acts in Italy in the last 30 years.
