The Stuttgart-based band SCHUBKARRE releases their debut album "Sand im Getreide" (translation: sand in the grain). on March 21, 2025. The album is self-released and is available on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music. In addition, a vinyl edition limited to 100 copies will be released. The music video for the single "Ungebremst gegen die Wand" is already available on YouTube.
SCHUBKARRE recorded and produced their debut album DIY, mastering was done by Abel2Rock - Audio Engineering. The recordings took place live in the rehearsal room in spring and summer 2024.
Singer and bassist Frank Strebel on the recordings: "During the recordings for "Sand im Getreide" we wanted to capture our music unembellished and direct. We recorded the songs as we play them
live. The album is dirty, loud and has rough edges – exactly the way we wanted it to be. The artwork is by Arni, an artist friend who captured our music perfectly on the cover."
SCHUBKARRE, founded in 2023 in Marbach am Neckar near Stuttgart, consists of four members and plays a mixture of doom, sludge, rock and punk.
